The road ahead

From Shaki to all of Nigeria.

We're not starting in Lagos like everyone else. We're starting at home, proving it works, and scaling outward — real milestones, not pitch-deck dust.

  1. Phase 1Launchpad

    Strong roots in Shaki

We launch where we're from — Shaki, then Ago-Are, then every town on the road to Iseyin. Mobility for the places big apps skip.

  2. Phase 2Oyo State

    From towns to cities

Ibadan gives us urban scale, then Oyo town and every city in the state — one connected network across Oyo.

  3. Phase 3Nigeria

    Lagos, then everywhere

Lagos becomes the launchpad for national scale — city by city, building Nigeria's #1 mobility network.

  4. The missionOne Routa

    Moving Nigeria forward

One network from the smallest town to the biggest city — trusted by riders, drivers, and communities alike.

“We're not building Uber for Nigeria. We're building Routa for Nigeria — shaped by the roads, the people, and the real ways we move every day.”

— The Routa team, Shaki

Questions

Everything you're wondering.

When and where is Routa launching?

We launch first in Shaki, Oyo State, then expand along the Shaki–Iseyin corridor before moving to Ibadan, the rest of Oyo State, and finally Lagos and nationwide. Follow us on socials to know the moment we go live in your area.

How do fares work?

Every fare is calculated from a base fee plus distance (per km) and time (per minute), with a fair minimum per category — from ₦400 on okada to ₦2,500 for Executive. You always see the price before you book, and the final receipt breaks it down transparently.

How can I pay?

Cash, card, or your Routa wallet. Top up the wallet by card or bank transfer (powered by Paystack), and every trip receipt is saved in the app.

What do I need to drive on Routa?

A valid driver's licence, NIN verification, your vehicle documents, and a vehicle that passes inspection — car, keke, or okada. Sign up in the app, upload your documents, and our team takes it from there.

How much does Routa take from drivers?

A flat 15% commission — you keep 85% of every fare. That's among the lowest in the Nigerian market, where 20–30% is standard. Earnings go to your in-app wallet and can be paid out to any Nigerian bank account.

What about the other services — moving, workers, housing?

Ride launches first. Help to Move, Escort, Worker Hub, and Find House roll out on the same app afterwards — same account, same wallet. Watch the app for each launch.

How do I reach support?

In-app chat and calls during any trip, plus our Nigerian support team on WhatsApp, call, or social media — around the clock.

Ready to move with Routa?

Free to download. Pay by cash, card, or wallet. Be first in line when we go live in your city.
